Women

Welcome to Eagle Christian Church Women's Ministries. We invite you to join us on our journey to the heart of God. Our God has uniquely designed women to need a relationship with Him AND healthy, encouraging, intergenerational relationships with other women as we travel through life. The journey will have its challenges and joys, but the challenges will be divided and the joys multiplied because we make the journey together.

On our journey, we will REACH and build friendships with women of all ages and all stages of life. We will encourage and be encouraged as we interact with multiple generations of women. We will TEACH and EQUIP women to know, to share, and to live out God's perfect design for womanhood. We will study together from God's unchanging Word and draw closer to Him. We will become more confident to share God's plan for us with other women. Ultimately, we will rejoice with opportunities to SERVE our God and others we meet on our journey to God's heart.

Questions, needs, information about any group or event, ideas, etc., contact Glennis at 286-0879 or 514-9296 or email glennist@eaglechristianchurch.com.

Excited for the journey to His heart,

[ Glennis Thomas ]

 Service Opportunities:

Our love for Christ naturally overflows as we serve Him by serving others. The important thing is to find a place to serve and plug in. Service is as indiviudal as each of us. The obvious ones are prayer warriors, children and youth, visiting the elderly and those struggling, volunteering with service organizations in the community, being sensitive to those around us, actively looking for ways to display Christ through our actions.

Meals Ministry - an opportunity to serve in a very practical way when needs arise. If you would like to help or need help in this area, contact the church office 286-0879 or Danielle Bowman at 401-5421.

Women in Prayer - Women committed to praying regularly for the various needs of women's ministries, individuals, ECC staff, etc. This group undergirds Women's Ministries, is committed to confidentiality, and has a real heart for taking the needs of others to the throne of God in prayer. Led by Shannon Crites.

New opportunities:

Apples of Gold - a great opportunity to develop your cooking skills, build friendships, share in a study topic and have fun in the process.  Starting September 30, we  will spend 7 Tuesday evenings together. On November 16 we will share what we h ave learned and enjoy a special evening with our husbands, our mentors and their husbands to celebrate our time together. Led by Nancy Fehrmann.

Apple Core - Women need each other from the cradle to the grave. A listening ear and someone with whom to share our joys and concerns is the heart and core of how God has designed us. The benefits from longer term intergenerational friendships sstrengthens and encourages us both spiritually and in just living our lives day by day.  Intergenerational pairs of women will decide exactly what they want their time together to accomplish and will meet at times they decide.  Pairs will meet for a 9 month period.  Led by Nikki Proost and Joan Oster.
