Family Life - Ministry

Raising a family today can be complicated. Family Life Ministry is focused on helping families improve and strengthen their walk with Christ and their relationships with each other. 

Our Definition of Family Life Ministry at ECC

It is ministry in the local church focused on the discipleship of each member of the family, which meets their unique emotional, physical, relational and spiritual growth needs, and which moves them toward a life of faith together in their marriage, family life, and in their witness in the church and community.  Family Life Ministry is designed to build marriages and families toward God’s design and the definition and instruction in His Word, and toward a life-giving relationship with Jesus Christ that makes Him the Lord of marriage and family life every day for the glory of God.

Family Life Leadership

The Family Life Leadership Team of Eagle Christian is a group of passionate and concerned Christian leaders who are committed to building godly families, programs that build marriages and give parents tools to raise a Christ-centered family, activities that are family friendly and focused on fellowship with other families here at ECC, and the development of Family Life ministry tools that equip the family from a Christian world view perspective to follow God's Word and build their marriage and family according to His model.

Programs

Family Life Wednesdays

Programs and activities geared for family members of all ages on Wednesday nights. Elementary and Early Childhood classes will have a season Closing Celebration on May 22. We will resume programming in the fall.

Joshua's Men-Called To War 2013

Men's Ministry - Meets once a month at ECC in the Chapel from 7:15-8:30AM.  The Joshua's Men Called To War study is a study of Gideon and the Call to Warfare and Spiritual Men.

Maximum Impact Wednesday Nights

Every Wednesday night high school students gather together for a night of worship and fun!

Wednesday Night Youth Group 7-8:30PM

We would love for all 6th-8th graders to join us EVERY Wednesday in the CHAPEL from 7-8:30PM., for a great night of teaching, games, small groups for guys & girls, lots of fun with board games-ping pong-foosball, friends, games, & our SNACK SHACK where you can purchase snacks to munch on before & after youth group.

ALSA & CUSTOMARY end of school concert!

End of the school year concert featuring ALSA & CUSTOMARY.  Come and celebrate the end of another year of school, win prizes, and have a great time!  This event is only $5.  All are welcome!  Prizes given away to middle school & high school students!

Family Night at HAWKS Baseball

This is our 6th annual ECC Family night at Hawks Stadium.  It only cost $3 Per person, and it all takes place on Wednesday night, June 19 at 7:15 pm.  We will be offering 500 tickets at $3 each (includes admission + 2-dollar vouchers for snacks) beginning May 25/26 at the family life counter in the east end of the main lobby.  Tickets are first come, first served basis until they run out!  And we sell out EVERY YEAR.
